Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 4, 2026

This policy explains what information NativeOffice collects when you create an account or use the website, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. It's written in plain language on purpose. If anything here is unclear, email support@nativeoffice.online and ask.

Information we collect

NativeOffice accounts are created and signed into using Google Sign-In. There is no separate password to set or store. When you sign in with Google, we receive and store:

  • Your Google account identifier
  • Your email address
  • Your name, as provided by Google
  • Your profile photo, if you have one set on your Google account

During first-time setup, we ask a short set of onboarding questions to personalize the app. Depending on what you choose to answer, this can include:

  • Your first and last name (which can differ from your Google name)
  • Your occupation or field of work
  • What you primarily plan to use NativeOffice for (documents, spreadsheets, presentations, or a mix)
  • Which app (Writer, Sheets, or Slides) you're most interested in
  • How you heard about NativeOffice

All of these onboarding questions are skippable. If you add a phone number later from your account page, that's optional too, and only stored if you choose to provide it.

We also store account and entitlement data needed to run the product: your Premium plan status and expiry date (if any), whether a product key has been redeemed on your account, and the timestamps and identifiers needed to keep your website session and desktop app sign-in working and in sync with each other. Session tokens and desktop app tokens are stored as one-way hashes, not in a form that can be reversed back into a usable login token.

Why we collect it

We use this information to:

  • Create and secure your account, and keep you signed in
  • Personalize onboarding, templates, and in-app suggestions based on how you plan to use NativeOffice
  • Check and enforce Premium entitlement consistently across the website and the desktop app
  • Support signing in on the desktop app by pairing it with your website account
  • Understand, in aggregate, how people find NativeOffice, so we know what's working

We do not use your data to build an advertising profile, and NativeOffice does not run ads.

Where your data is stored

Account data is stored in Cloudflare D1, a managed database, associated with your NativeOffice account. The website itself runs on Cloudflare Pages. We don't maintain a separate copy of your data outside of this system.

Whether we sell or share your data

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the small number of service providers necessary to operate NativeOffice:

  • Google, as the identity provider for sign-in. Google's own privacy policy governs what Google does with your data on its side of that relationship.
  • If you purchase Premium, our payment processor may collect additional information necessary to complete the transaction (such as billing details), governed by their own privacy policy. NativeOffice does not receive or store your full card details.

How long we keep your data

We retain your account data for as long as your account exists, so that your documents, settings, and Premium entitlement stay consistent across sign-ins and devices. Session tokens, desktop app tokens, and device pairing codes expire automatically on their own schedules and are not kept indefinitely.

Requesting deletion

You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time by emailing support@nativeoffice.online from the email address on your account. We'll confirm the request and remove your data once it's processed.

Children's privacy

NativeOffice is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact support@nativeoffice.online and we'll remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as NativeOffice changes, for example when new features or billing options are introduced. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version. If a change is significant, we'll look for a reasonable way to let existing users know.
